Terms and Conditions – “Let’s Go!” English Workshops

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to registrations for the “Let’s Go!” English workshops offered by Lingua Sète, which are intended for children and teenagers ages 5 to 18.

1. Workshop Organization

The “Let’s Go!” workshops are group English classes designed to encourage language practice in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment.

Groups are organized by the participants’ grade level:

• Kindergarten (Grande Section) / 1st grade (CP): 45-minute workshop, up to 12 participants;
• Grades 2–5 (CE1–CM2): 2-hour workshop, up to 12 participants;
• Middle and high school students: 2-hour workshop, up to 12 participants.

Unless otherwise noted, workshops are held one Saturday per month. The dates, times, fees, and locations for each session are listed on the Lingua Sète website at the time of registration.

Workshops can be held at the Domaine du Lazaret in Sète or at any other location in Sète or the surrounding area, to be specified at the time of registration.

Lingua Sète reserves the right to change the location or the scheduled instructor in exceptional circumstances. All instructors are selected by Lingua Sète and possess the skills appropriate for the workshop in question.

2. Registration and Payment

Registration is completed online by the child’s legal guardian using the form provided for this purpose. A single reservation may include up to three siblings, registered on the same day for the same or different sessions.

The legal representative certifies that he or she has parental authority or is duly authorized to enroll the child.

Registration is final once the form has been submitted and full payment for the session has been made by credit card through the payment solution provided on the website.

Since space is limited, registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to each group’s capacity.

Lingua Sète reserves the right to cancel or postpone a session if the minimum number of 3 participants is not met.

3. Prices

Prices are listed in euros and are for one session:

• €15 per child for the 45-minute workshop for kindergarten and first-grade students;
• €30 for the first child enrolled in a 2-hour workshop (grades 2–5 or middle school/high school students);
• €25 for each additional child from the same family enrolled in a 2-hour workshop as part of the same reservation, even if the children participate in different 2-hour sessions. This discount applies only to 2-hour workshops: the workshop for Grande Section / CP remains €15 per child and is not included in the calculation of the discount.

Lingua Sète provides the teaching materials needed for the workshop.

Participants should bring a water bottle.

4. Cancellation, No-Show, and Rescheduling by the Customer

Registration fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or absence at the customer’s request, subject to applicable mandatory legal provisions.

Any request to reschedule must be submitted to Lingua Sète at least 72 hours before the workshop begins.

If a postponement is requested within this time frame, Lingua Sète may offer to reschedule the registration for another session, on a date chosen by the customer, subject to availability.

The postponement applies exclusively to the child who was originally registered and cannot be transferred to another participant.

If you are absent or request a rescheduling less than 72 hours before the workshop begins, you will not be eligible for a rescheduling.

5. Cancellation or Modification by Lingua Sète

Lingua Sète may have to cancel or postpone a session for reasons such as an insufficient number of participants, the unavailability of the venue, the unavailability of the instructor, or a force majeure event.

In the event of a cancellation or postponement decided by Lingua Sète, a transfer to another session will be offered first.

If no rescheduling option is selected, the amounts corresponding to the canceled session will be refunded.

6. Supervision and Responsibility for Children

Legal guardians must accompany their child to the workshop location and hand the child over to the instructor.

At the end of the workshop, the child must be picked up by his or her legal guardian or by a person previously authorized by the guardian.

Only middle school and high school students may be permitted to leave the workshop location on their own, and only with written permission from their legal guardian. In this case, Lingua Sète and the teacher are no longer responsible for the child once he or she leaves the workshop location, particularly during the trip home or to any other destination.

Throughout the workshop, the child remains under the teacher’s care and supervision as part of the educational activity.

Children must follow the teacher’s instructions and respect the other participants, the facilities, and the equipment made available to them.

In the event of violent, dangerous, or severely disruptive behavior, Lingua Sète may terminate the child’s participation in the workshop. The legal guardian may be asked to come and pick up the child immediately.

Exclusion on these grounds does not entitle the participant to a refund for the session.

7. Health, Allergies, and Special Needs

Upon registration, the legal guardian agrees to provide Lingua Sète with any information regarding the child’s health or circumstances that could affect the child’s care or safety, including:

• allergies;
• health problems;
• specific medical treatments or needs;
• specific educational or support needs;
• behavioral difficulties that require special attention.

The legal representative certifies that the child is able to participate in the workshop under the proposed conditions.

Lingua Sète reserves the right to refuse or terminate a child’s participation if the child’s needs require supervision or safety measures that cannot reasonably be provided within the workshop’s usual framework.

In the event of an emergency, the legal guardian authorizes Lingua Sète and/or the teacher to contact emergency services and take the necessary measures to ensure the child’s safety, as well as to contact the individuals listed at the time of registration.

8. Personal Data and Image Rights

The data collected during registration is used for the organization, monitoring, and management of the workshops, in accordance with Lingua Sète’s privacy policy, which is available on its website.

A specific and separate consent form will be provided for the potential use of photographs or videos of the children for communication purposes.

9. Consumer Complaints and Mediation

Any complaint must first be submitted in writing to Lingua Sète in order to seek an amicable resolution.

10. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

Confirmation of registration implies that the child’s legal representative has read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The legal representative acknowledges that he or she has provided accurate information necessary for the child’s care and agrees to notify Lingua Sète of any significant changes to this information.
